Are you allowed to bring food and drink onto the Gyeonggi-do city buses?

When riding public transport in Korea, there are situations where you are not permitted to carry on food and drinks. There are many places where bringing food and drink on to the bus is not permitted in order to not cause inconveniences to other people due to the smell of food and drink being spilled onto the floor or left on the bus when getting off. Seoul has already forbidden carrying on food and drink on their city buses. Areas outside of Seoul have routes where it is allowed to bring on food and drink when boarding. In that case, where are the regions where you can bring on food and drink?

Inside Seoul city buses, there are detailed guidelines for Food and Drink not allowed. Gyeonggi-do, located near Seoul, decides for each region's route whether or not food and drink is allowed. Depending on the route, food and drink can be allowed or not allowed. If it is a route where food and drink is not allowed, there will be a sign saying Food and Drink not allowed, so please take note when boarding! The food and drink without a lid are not allowed.

Even if food and drink are allowed to be brought on, it's still much nicer to eat food with strong smells prior to boarding, right? Please make sure to take your waste with you when getting off! Also, please do not forget that you must wear a mask when riding a bus due to COVID-19!
