Pyeongtaek Port PR Center is an institution that advocates Pyeongtaek Port, which is one of the biggest international trade ports in the West Sea(Yellow Sea). Pyeongtaek Port PR Cente is also considered one of the best tourist destinations in Pyeongtaek for it contains the history of Pyeongtaek Port and is full of attractions! Currently, it is not operated due to COVID-19, but please visit when it opens again!
The center is open from 10:00 to 18:00 every day, except on statutory and legal holidays. It takes about 40 minutes to take a look around. Children under the age of 7 must enter with a guardian, and if a group of more than 10 people are visiting, you must make a reservation online three days ahead. We recommend you to look around in the following order: Exhibition Hall 1 → Exhibition Hall 2 → Trick Art Zone, Port Game Zone → Game Zone → Video Room → Observation Deck.
At the entrance of the center, a cute blue-colored dolphin character named Arari will greet you. Pyeongtaek Port PR Center consists of three floors. Before entering the center, you must fill out a guestbook. Once you complete it, you will receive a secret coin. You get to draw from a variety of souvenirs with secret coins. Two chances are given per coin, so please give it a try!
The center presents the history of Pyeongtaek Port and the potential development of the port in the future. While looking around, you could also see reproductions of how containers are moved from Pyeongtaek Port. In addition, there is a photo zone where you can take pictures that come to life as if you're taking selfies with dolphins in the blue sea! It's especially great for an outing with kids.
