Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu is a spot in Pyeongtaek where you can enjoy shabu-shabu, kalguksu (chopped noodles) and fried rice all at once! The restaurant is also selected as a Good Restaurant (restaurant with excellent hygiene and service) by Pyeongtaek City. The main menu is Kalguksu but if you want, you can add meat! Thus, it is a great place to visit even if you are a meat lover!
The restaurant has three kalguksu options, which are spicy mushroom, perilla, and seefood. You can also select the spicy level! If you don’t eat spicy food, ask the staff to make it less spicy! If you want to eat some meat, add beef shabu (thinly sliced beef) or lamb shabu (thinly sliced lamb). A serving for one costs 8,000 KRW and you can also add vegetables with some extra charge. Dumplings can also be ordered as a side. Dumpling options are meat, kimchi, and shrimp, and each order costs 6,000 KRW.
When you order the spicy mushroom kalguksu, you will be served with a pot overflowing with broth, celery and mushrooms! Once the broth starts boiling, you can start eating the vegetables and mushroom, and if you added meat, you can dip it in the broth and enjoy eating!
After enjoying the shabu-shabu, add the knife-chopped noodles called kalguksu and boil for a while. When you finish the noodles, you can ask for fried rice. You don't have to worry about how to cook fried rice as the staff will come and prepare it for you!
Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the final order can be placed at 9:10 p.m.! Parking is available and children can use play facilities prepared in the restaurant. If you want to try Shabu shabu, Kalguksu, and fried rice at once, please make sure to visit~
