1. Osan Miniature Village

Korea's one and only indoor miniature exhibition facility, ideated and constructed in resemblance to Germany's famous 'Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg.'. Operating most of its exhibits on a ratio of a 1/87 size, you have the chance to travel back in time to learn and experience Korean history and history worldwide by seeing various landmarks and unique sites. Their exhibit even features a world journey along the trans-Eurasian Express! 2. Osan City Drama Set

Naesammi-dong's Drama Set features two separate sets, including parts of the backdrop set for popular Korean dramas, 'Arthdal Chronicles' and 'The King: Eternal Monarch.' The 'Arthdal Chronicles' set features its exotic and unique setting of the ancient era, while 'The King: Eternal Monarch' set motifs the past Korean Empire with an imperial garden and yellow ginkgo trees. To tour the set, all visitors must follow the tour guide sessions during their given times. From the Welcome Osan Rest Center(어서오산 휴), you can take a quick break and enjoy something to eat or drink from their rest center convenience store, refer to tourist info from their information center, and take photos from their photo zone.

3. Doksanseong Fortress and Semadae Site

Doksanseong Fortress consists of its main fortress, which spans about 1,100 meters, and the inner fortress, which stretches to about 350 meters. It's a historical site where Jeolla Province's governor General Gwon Yul stationed twenty thousand soldiers to successfully defeat Japanese invaders during the 26th year of King Seonjo's reign (1593). He had mowed down a significant number of the enemy forces and prevented the fortress from being captured. The fortress' exact construction period is still unknown. Still, it was likely constructed during the Baekje Period, serving as a strategic point of troops in the Unified Silla Period and Goryeo Period. Presently, many visit the site to enjoy a stroll along the walking trail of the beautiful vast landscape seen from above.

Suwon

1. Suwon Hwaseong Fortress

Designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site on December 12, 1997 for its historical value, Hwaseong Fortress, surrounds the central area of Suwon, built to protect the city. The fortress offers various performances daily and a Cultural Festival every fall. The walls stretch for 5,700 kilometers, with Paldalsan Mountain at the center. The fortress, constructed from 1794 to 1796, was built to house and honor the remains of King Jeongjo's father during the Joseon Dynasty, as well as to create a new pioneer city with its economic power.

2. Wolhwawon Garden

At the far west of Hyowon Park lies Wolhwawon Garden, featuring unique architectural elements heavily influenced by the ancient traditional gardens of China's Guangdong Province. The garden was established as a result of a special Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement made in 2003 between the provincial governments of Gyeonggi-do in Korea and Guangdong in China. In appreciation of each other's friendship and cultural heritages, both parties agreed to build a traditional garden that represents the other within the city.

3. Suwon Tradtional Culture Center

Established in 2015, the Suwon Traditional Culture Center was built to develop and promote Korean Traditional Culture to nearby locals and visiting foreigners. Visitors can participate in various activities and programs to experience and learn more about Korean culture first handily. The center consists of 2 main centers, including the 'Traditional Dietary Life Experience Center' and 'Etiquette Education Center. The Traditional Dietary Life Experience Center offers education programs on traditional food, royal cuisine, and dietary culture. At the same time, the Etiquette Education Center includes education specializing in traditional etiquettes such as tea ceremonies, etiquette, boudoir handcrafts, and youth character-building programs.

Cheonan

1. The Independence Hall of Korea

The Independence Hall of Korea is a place that displays the entire history of the Korean people during the Korean independence movement. Consisting of seven separate exhibition halls that include several state-of-the-art displays, a total of 90,000 pieces of relics are displayed and preserved throughout the exhibitions. The independence hall has many diverse aspects, which include cultural playgrounds and healing rest areas surrounded by beautiful nature, while also becoming a site where all visitors can learn about the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice of the Korean people.

2. Toujours Dolgama Village Bakery

Toujours Bakery is the perfect place for you if you love bread and enjoy a good view. Founded in Cheonan over 25 years ago, this bakery chain has several branches located throughout Cheonan. Their main branch holds a stone kiln where a selection of artisan breads is made. The bakery is a boulangerie-patisserie. A 'patisserie' signifies the production of cakes and different pastries, and a 'boulangerie,' which is baking various kinds of breads. Moreover, the Toujours is an artisanal boulangerie-patisserie, which indicates that all the bread and pastry being baked on-site are warm and fresh. The "village" has about half a dozen structures, including a pastry mill, rice cake shop, mini greenhouse for herbs, cafe, and a few others located behind their two-story bakery building.
