1. ROK Navy 2nd Fleet’s Anbo Park (West Sea Coast Guard)

A site for you to witness and experience first-handedly the history and process of creating peace at the West Sea. Take part in hearing the stories and live commentary of naval soldiers and glimpse the ‘Truth-357ho’ battleship, Cheonan patrol ship, and other history and naval warship site areas of the ROK Navy 2nd Fleet’s Anbo Park!


2. Simboksa Temple

Located within the heights of Gwangdeoksan Mountain, Simboksa Temple is considered one of Pyeongtaek’s smallest temples and was handed down as a traditional temple. It was founded and based upon a legend originating from a Buddha statue during the first year of the reign of the Goryeo Dynasty’s King Wu (1375).

3. Grave and Memorial Stone of General Lee Dae-Won

Designated as a Gyeonggi Province monument in 1980, this grave site/memorial is commemorate General Lee Dae-Won, one of many prominent figures of the Joseon Dynasty. A native of Naegi-ri, Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek, Lee Dae-won was extensively known as one of the many warriors that existed during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. The general passed before the major outbreak but is honored for fighting bravely against the frequent prior Japanese invasions.
