PIEF’s Third Annual Language Festival

PIEF is scheduled to hold its third annual ‘Language Festival’ in November. The event consists of a ‘Korean-English Speaking Contest’ that anyone and everyone is invited to participate in.

This year’s speaking contest’s chosen topic is ‘Myself in 20 Years’ and can be performed through one of the following methods selected by the participants: a speech, poem reciting, singing a song, or Korean dubbing.

Elementary, middle, or high school students from any school within Korea are eligible to participate in the English Language Contest, and any foreigner adults and students (elementary, middle, or high school) residing in Korea are eligible to register to participate in the Korean Language Contest.

Those who wish to participate must register and send in a typed manuscript and a video of their speech, which will be evaluated and screened by PIEF to select the final contestants who will be eligible to participate in the festival’s speaking contest.
