Reenacting Life’s Realities from Pyeongtaek City Cultural Foundation’s Contemporary Dance Gala Concert

Pyeongtaek City Culture Foundation is bringing the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company to Pyeongtaek through their ‘Contemporary Dance Gala Concert’.

This top-notched performance is a composition created by Korea’s top dance artists and choreographers performing their unique demonstration for locals to enjoy modern dance partnered with a social performance commentary.

Founded in 2010, the National Contemporary Dance Company is Korea’s only existing national contemporary dance organization. They aim to highlight the diverse values of encompassing regions and past-present generations through special dance techniques and moves.

In their new upcoming performance, ‘Biboho’(‘unprotected’ in Korean), the group unravels a subject consciousness with powerful dance movements and expression.

While what looks like it exceeds common human bodily limitations, the artists attempt to create a physical breakdown of the unseen ‘rules’ and ‘dangers’ that we may unpredictably face in present-day society and discusses what newness can be discovered.

You don’t want to miss out on this breathtaking performance!
