Fifteen esteemed contemporary artists from Pyeongtaek and Southwestern Gyeonggi Province have come together to present an impressive collection of artworks. The title of this exhibition, "Wild Wild West," draws inspiration from a renowned western film set in frontier America. It symbolizes the arduous journey undertaken by local art to explore uncharted territories and unravel its untapped potential, while forging new connections and expanding its horizons. Each artwork celebrates the unique possibilities of the present moment and invites viewers to immerse themselves in a realm teeming with boundless creativity.
The exhibition welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Friday, operating between the hours of 11am and 7pm. On weekends and holidays, the doors open at 10am and close at 6pm. However, please bear in mind that the last entry is permitted 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Admission prices for this extraordinary event are set at 10,000 won for adults (aged 19 and above), with a special discounted rate of 8,000 won for Pyeongtaek citizens. Children aged 7 to 18 can enjoy the exhibition for 6,000 won, while individuals aged 65 and above, as well as groups of 20 or more, are granted access for 6,000 won per person.
There is also exclusive discount to adults who are not Pyeongtaek citizens. By adding Pyeongtaek City Hall as a Kakao Plus friend on KakaoTalk, you can enjoy an additional 30% off the regular admission price. However, please note that this discount is not applicable to other age groups or categories, it is available just for adults (adults who didn't receive discount).
