As the days grow colder, you might want to find more activities that can be done indoors where you can stay nice and warm. Why not get in touch with your artistic side this winter by creating something beautiful at Goop Ceramic Studio?

Goop is a ceramic studio located in Dongsak-dong that specializes in one day classes and custom art pieces, particularly their signature baby handprint dishes. The studio has been in business for over a year now but the owner, Ms. Kim, is not new to art. A graduate of art school, she is also an experienced art teacher with a passion and talent for ceramics. She even has some background in English and sign language.

Ms. Kim's work is delicate and classy yet irresistibly cute in style. You will be captivated by her attention to detail and knack for beauty--but don't take it from me! She regularly posts photos of her exquisite work on Instagram, so if you're not convinced yet, be sure to take a look for yourself.

Reservations for classes and baby handprint sessions can easily be made through Goop's Kakao channel. There is also detailed information listed on the business's Naver page, which is linked on their Instagram. Don't be scared if your art skills are lacking, because Ms. Kim can adjust the difficulty level of your projects. Even complete beginners are welcome! Since ceramics take time to dry, fire, and glaze, you should be patient though--you can expect to be able to pick up your finished piece within 4~5 weeks of your original session. Reservations fill up fast, so don't hesitate to schedule your session! Whether you want a memorable piece of art to celebrate your baby, or your New Year's Resolution is to learn a new skill, you won't be disappointed at Goop!
