MATO Festival Returns This June with “Wonder-Pool Beach”

The MATO Festival is back with a splash this June, bringing the vibrant theme of "Imagine Pyeongtaek Beach as Culture, Wonder-Pool Beach." Set to take place on June 29th at Anjeong-riArt Square, this year's festival promises a day filled with fun and excitement for families and visitors of all ages.

The event will feature a wide array of water-based activities, including air bounce pools, exhilarating water slides, bubble foam, etc, to ensure a thrilling experience for both children and adults. Younger attendees can look forward to additional attractions, such as a child-friendly water slide.

In addition to water play, the festival will offer various interactive experience programs in collaboration with resident artists and planners from Anjeong-riArt Square. Attendees can immerse themselves in creative workshops like beach bag and beach ball making, capture memories with daily life logging through photography, and enjoy interactive shadow puppet shows.

To keep the energy high throughout the day, a lineup of live performances is scheduled, featuring highlights such as a dynamic percussion performance, a magical bubble show, b-boying and DJing acts.

Designed to be enjoyed rain or shine, the festival ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, regardless of the weather.
