Located in the serene mountains of Paengseong-eup, Pyeongtaek, the Sambong Memorial Hall offers a peaceful retreat into Korea's rich historical heritage. Established in 2000, this historical museum honors the legacy of Jeong Do-jeon, a pivotal figure in the founding of the Joseon Dynasty, also known as Sambong.
For English-speaking guests, free tour guides are available. During the summer, tours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while in winter, they are offered until 4 p.m. Please note that the memorial hall is closed on Mondays, and there is a lunch break from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The tranquil surroundings of the memorial hall provide a perfect backdrop for reflection and relaxation.
