A new six-story public parking facility has been completed in Songtan, designed to accommodate up to 152 vehicles. Located at 817-1 Seojeong-dong, the facility is situated in the Seojeong Tourism Special Zone and aims to significantly reduce parking inconveniences for both residents and visitors.
The parking structure, which covers an area of 5,893 square meters, was constructed at a cost of 16.2 billion won. Construction began in February of last year and has recently concluded.
The facility will be open to the public starting August 22nd and will offer free parking until the end of the Chuseok holiday on September 18th. From September 19th, the parking will transition to a paid service.
The city of Pyeongtaek anticipates that the new parking structure will boost the local economy by stimulating business activity in the surrounding area.
