The Cheongbuk Library in Pyeongtaek, has officially reopened after a three-month expansion and remodeling, transforming into a new multi-purpose cultural space.
The reopening ceremony was attended by over 20 distinguished guests, including Jeong Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek, and Kang Jeong-gu, Chairman of the Pyeongtaek City Council, as well as around 800 local citizens. The event featured a variety of cultural experiences and activities.
The newly renovated library boasts a children's picture book play area, an unmanned café, and a multipurpose room on the first floor. The second floor has been redesigned with classrooms for club activities and a child-friendly story loft, creating an engaging space for the community.
