Last year, we shared the exciting news about Costco’s plans to open a new store in Pyeongtaek. While the original opening was scheduled for May 2025, the official launch has since been postponed to June, and now the grand opening is just weeks away.
The new store will be located on the second basement level of the upcoming Pyeongtaek Godok iPark complex at 153-1 Jangdang-dong, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do. With its location just a five-minute drive from Pyeongtaek Jije Station, the branch will offer excellent accessibility for residents and commuters.
Costco Korea has announced that membership fees will increase beginning in May 2025. Shoppers planning to sign up are encouraged to do so before the end of April to take advantage of the current rates. The store will be closed on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, and membership registration will also be unavailable on those days.
As the opening date draws near, excitement continues to grow for this major new retail destination in the Pyeongtaek area.
