The new 5401 regional bus route connecting Pyeongtaek Godeok New Town and the Gangnam District in Seoul has significantly improved transportation accessibility for Pyeongtaek residents. With the launch of this route, passengers can now travel directly without transfers from Godeok International New Town through Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus and Pyeongtaek Jije Station to Gangnam Station and Yangjae Station.
The 5401 bus operates from five in the morning to eleven in the evening, with intervals of approximately fifteen to twenty minutes during peak commuting hours, which greatly enhances convenience for daily travelers. Previously, commuters heading to Seoul had to take the SRT from Jije Station to Suseo Station and then transfer to other public transportation. Now, a single bus ride provides direct access to central Seoul and creates a much more efficient travel experience.
The interior of the bus is designed for comfort and features a pleasant environment and spacious seating that help reduce fatigue during long distance travel. The route is also expected to ease commuting stress for residents in the Godeok and Jije areas. With minimal intermediate stops, the travel time to Seoul is approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
