A unique children’s experiential learning space, Thanks Toto Pyeongtaek, is drawing attention for its nature-friendly programs designed to support early childhood development.
Located in Pyeongtaek, the center provides specialized classes for children aged 18 months to preschool age, combining sensory play, cooking activities, and seasonal themes in a structured educational setting.
Unlike typical kids cafés, Thanks Toto offers curriculum-based sessions that change every two to three weeks. Each class runs for approximately 50 to 60 minutes and includes hands-on activities tailored to stimulate children’s senses and creativity. Weekday morning sessions are available as parent-child “with mom” classes, while other sessions are conducted as independent participation programs.
The space features an indoor “mini forest” environment where children can engage in soil play, explore natural materials, and take part in cooking classes designed to enhance their sensory and emotional development. Seasonal programs such as the “Tulip Hotel” soil play session and the “Color Emotion Monster: Paprika” activity reflect the center’s focus on integrating nature with learning.
Developed through over a decade of research, the program originated in Cheongdam, Seoul, and is now available at the Pyeongtaek branch with the same curriculum.
With its combination of nature-based education and structured activities, Thanks Toto aims to provide young children with opportunities to learn, play, and grow while building social connections in a safe and engaging environment.
