Two New Green Spaces Now Open in Pyeongtaek

Two new neighborhood parks officially opened to the public on May 1, adding welcome green spaces to the city’s urban landscape.

Mosan Neighborhood Park (모산근린공원), located in Dongsak-dong, features a large water play area, a dedicated pet-friendly rest area with a separate playground for small dogs, a five-color themed garden, and well-maintained walking paths. The park welcomed large crowds on Children’s Day, with families, parents with strollers, and dog owners among the first to enjoy the new space. A second construction zone (2공구) is still underway and will further expand the park once completed.

Eunsil Neighborhood Park (은실근린공원), located in Segyo-dong, offers a quieter, more nature-focused experience with a contemplation garden, cedar forest path, playground, grass plaza, badminton courts, and a children’s fitness zone. The park is already attracting visitors looking for a peaceful outdoor escape close to home.

Both parks are free to access and open to the public daily.
