Pyeongtaek City has completed facility upgrades at three major bus terminals, making public transportation more comfortable and convenient for passengers.
The improvements cover Pyeongtaek Intercity Bus Terminal, Pyeongtaek Express Bus Terminal, and Anjung Bus Terminal, with a focus on facilities used most frequently by passengers and bus drivers.
Key upgrades include renovated restrooms and nursing rooms, new heating and cooling systems, and improved rest areas for bus drivers. These changes are designed to create a cleaner waiting environment and provide better facilities for families and travelers.
The project was supported by Gyeonggi Province, which provided 60% of the total cost, with the remaining 40% covered by the terminal operators.
Pyeongtaek City says it will continue working with local transportation operators to improve aging facilities and create a safer, more convenient public transportation system for residents and visitors.
