Starting August 3, commuters traveling between Pyeongtaek and Pangyo will benefit from additional services on Express Bus Route 6801. The route will operate four extra weekday trips, including two during the morning rush hour and two during the evening commute, to help ease congestion.
Route 6801 is widely used by office workers commuting to Pangyo, one of Korea's major technology and business hubs. As ridership has steadily increased, many passengers have experienced overcrowded buses, long waiting times, or have even been unable to board during peak hours.
The additional services are expected to improve commuting conditions by reducing congestion and providing more convenient transportation options for residents traveling between Pyeongtaek and Pangyo.
