Pyeongtaek City is offering free bicycle safety inspections for residents from September through November 2026 to help promote safer and more convenient cycling.
The inspections will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, at locations across the city’s towns, townships, and neighborhoods. Residents can check the poster’s QR code for specific inspection locations.
The service includes basic bicycle safety inspections and minor repairs, such as fixing flat tires, adding oil, and checking brakes and gears.
Routine inspections and minor repairs are provided free of charge. However, if major parts such as tires, tubes, or other components need to be replaced, the bicycle owner will be responsible for the cost.
