Pyeongtaek Strengthens Resident-Focused Administrative Services

Pyeongtaek is strengthening its resident-focused administration by providing services that address everyday concerns and promote children’s health. The city is working to make administrative support more accessible by meeting residents directly in their communities and offering practical health programs for children.

From August to October, Pyeongtaek’s Citizens’ Grievance Resolution Committee is holding “Visiting Grievance Consultation Days” at 16 local administrative welfare centers. Residents experiencing difficulties with administrative procedures or unresolved complaints can receive consultations on site. When necessary, the committee works with relevant departments to review and coordinate cases to help find solutions.

The city is also expanding health programs for local children. The Poseung Health Support Center recently held a Summer Vacation Health Play Camp for elementary school students, combining physical activities with nutrition education, oral health checks, craft and cooking classes, as well as physical measurements and health consultations. The program aimed to help children develop healthier eating and lifestyle habits while enjoying activities with their peers.

Through these initiatives, Pyeongtaek aims to provide practical support that residents can experience in their daily lives while responding to local needs through closer communication and community-based services.
