Seasonal Workers Can Report Housing Violations

Seasonal workers who experience inadequate or unsafe housing conditions can report violations through the designated reporting channels.

Workers can report accommodations that fail to meet basic housing or safety standards, as well as cases involving unfair housing-related deductions from wages. Reports can be made by calling 1345 and pressing 1, or by sending a direct message to the “Migrant Rights” Facebook account.

The identity of those making reports will be strictly protected. Reports may also be submitted on behalf of workers by acquaintances, interpreters, or support organizations.
