We're staying at home longer without outdoor activities due to COVID-19. Now that we spend more time at home, many people are suffering from the "COVID blues," feeling depressed from repetitive daily life. If you're sick of being stuck at home, here are some suggestions to overcome your COVID blues.

"COVID blues," a word that combines COVID-19 and blues, refers to the aftereffect of the COVID-19 crisis. To overcome feeling depressed, it helps to try out different hobbies during the days of home quarantine.

First, you can try raising house plants. If you plant vegetables, you can relish the joy of harvest and cooking with them. Growing garden vegetables can also help you feel mentally stable. We recommend choosing plants that are not affected significantly by sunlight, such as leaf vegetables and herbs. Try caring for a house plant of your own.

Second is indoor exercise. The longer you stay at home, the more restless you'll feel. It helps to do some light indoor exercises. Whether it's stretching out, squats, or planks, do what it takes to stay healthy!

Lastly, cooking is another good option. Now that you have lots of time at home, why don't you cook something that you've always wanted to try? Since you're in Korea, it'd be fun to make some Korean food. We highly recommend this activity as it's also great to try with kids.

These are tough times, but let's stay strong as we wait for the day everything returns to normal.
