At Sosabeol Rock Bowling Alley located near Pyeongtaek Station, you can play both “rock bowling” (cosmic bowling) and regular bowling during the day, and at night, the entire place turns into a rock bowling alley.
It’s very spacious and can accommodate a large group of people. During these “rock bowling” sessions, they play upbeat music and turn on colorful lights to jazz things up. In the middle of the venue, there is a large tree and a round table at the bottom where you can take a break during the game.
For those who want to try something else, you also play other arcade games, dart, and basketball for an additional fee (cash only).
The base admission is 2,500 won for students (elementary, middle, high school) and 3,500 won for adults during the day, and 3,500 won for students and 4,500 won for adults at night. Before 5 PM on weekdays and 1 PM on weekends and holidays, they have daytime promotions that offer games at affordable prices. For the daytime promotions, it’s 4,000 won for two games and 5,500 won for three games. Only cash is accepted. Shoe rentals cost 1,500 won a pair, and you can buy socks for 1,000 won.
Please note that if the waitlist is long, you may be limited to two games. As Sosabeol Rock Bowling Alley is operated as a pre-paid service, you will need to pay before playing games. After payment, you can go to the lanes designated by the staff. Before bowling, grab bowling shoes of your size from the shoe rack and enter the alley.
For your convenience, they have a big parking lot at the basement level. The customers of the rock bowling alley can park here without a charge for two hours.
