A new rooftop cafe opened recently in Pyeongtaek. It's called Gray Bricks Coffee, with unique decor, spacious rooms, and great photo spots.
The overall color palette of Gray Bricks Coffee is white and gold. Plant pots, small props along the stairwell, camping chairs, and heaters create a stylish and cozy winter atmosphere. You can pick out the bean of your choice when you order: Golden Brick is deep and nutty, and Blue Brick is lightly citrusy and fruity. At the counter, they also offer dessert, including cake in pieces and Swiss rolls. The menu in the picture above is Americano(아메리카노), Lemonade(레몬에이드), Tiramisu Tart(티라미수 타르트).
The second floor is the rooftop with a cute little corner that resembles an igloo. The igloo is wide open when the weather is nice but has a plastic cover when it's cold. Even in chilly winter, you can stay warm as you drink a cup of coffee inside this dome.
Please refrain from running in the igloo because the vibration may make you spill the coffee. Also, be very careful not to slip when it rains or snows. The heater is on, so make sure you keep an eye on it as well. At Gray Bricks Coffee, the popular photo spot is their "white stairway to heaven." Once you go up the stairs, you will see a vast green field, making a perfect backdrop for a selfie.
In the evening, the sunset is gorgeous to watch on the rooftop :) Gray Bricks Coffee is open between 9:00 am and 11:00 pm every day.
