To Koreans, ramyeon is one of the most popular meals thanks to its easiness to prepare in a short time. The selection is large and diverse from the collaboration of different ramyeon like Jjapaguri (Jjapaghetti + Neoguri) or ramyeon series like the Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen and Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Carbonara. Today, we will introduce some ramyeon recipe hacks that will open up a whole new world of flavors to you.
The first is Creamy Jin Jjambbong with a rosé pasta flavor. The recipe is quite easy. All you need is milk and Jin Jjambbong. Jjin jjambong is an instant noodle available at most convenience stores and groceries. First, mix 100ml of water and 200ml of milk in a frying pan and boil. Then, add about 1/2 or 2/3 of the soup base included in the bag of Jin Jjambbong. The soup base is the red sauce. Once the water boils, add the noodles and boil, and finally add the oil sauce and mix. The oil sauce is the one in a small transparent plastic bag.
The second is the Kujirai-style ramyeon. Boil one cup of water in a frying pan and once it starts boiling, turn the stove-top fire to medium and then add the flake packet and noodles. Once the noodles is almost cooked, add about half of the soup base. Once the soup starts to become pasty, add an egg in the middle and lower the heat to low. Lastly, cover with a lid and wait about one minute before serving. Add a slice of cheese for more flavor.
