Typically, the first week of April is when beautiful cherry blossoms come into bloom. However, as you may have noticed, they bloomed last week (they say is the earliest in 10 years). Although a lot of pedals fell off due to the rain last weekend, there are a few more days we can enjoy the spring flowers. If you are looking for a place to take some last minute pictures, here are a few local hot spots!
< Eunhye-ro >
Eunhye-ro is a street in Songtan, lined with cherry blossoms. You can spot them from Ichung Leports Park to Kookje University. It's called Eunhye-ro because it's located near Eunhye Middle School and Eunhye High School. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the road turns into a cherry blossom tunnel. You can view them from inside the car, and it's also very pleasant to take a walk underneath. Make sure you're wearing your masks!

< Pyeongtaek University >
The second cherry blossom spot is Pyeongtaek University. The entire campus is filled with pink flowers. It's delightful to see cherry petals bloomed at the sports field. Take a stroll here to view these flowers and check out what a university is like in Korea. Pyeongtaek University is near Starfield Anseong, so it's easy to drop by when you're in the area.

< Tongbokcheon Stream >
Tongbokcheon Stream is our last recommendation for cherry blossoms. We recommend riding a bike here as you enjoy the flowers since the stream has a bike path. In addition to cherry blossoms, you can also find rich flora at Tongbokcheon. If you have kids, they will also love to cross the steppingstones scattered throughout the stream.
