A Friendly Place for All Ages and Dogs : 10 Dogs Cafe [PIEF Foreign Reporter]

10 Dogs Café is a great place to go for people of all ages. From the outdoor seating that is pet and child friendly where both can run around to the indoor seating areas that have a cozy café feel. The free WiFi invites you to stay and enjoy your latte, smoothie, or hot cocoa while you work, surf the internet, or do your homework.

When you walk into the café it feels like you are walking into a beautiful nature preserve with the draping foliage. There is a cute photography spot just inside with a cherry blossom tree and flower heart wall hangings. The lighting fixtures are enchanting and whimsical. There is a wall of teas, tea cups, and tea pots. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. I did my best to use Korean to order, but there were some employees who spoke English to help me get my order correct.

The menu at 10 Dogs Cafe has child friendly options and their drinks are delicious. 10 Dogs Café uses the Ripple app so you can upload any picture you would like to have on your latte. My two boys wanted hot cocoa and they were able to have a picture of each of our dogs and they loved it. I ordered the cloud smoothie and the smoothie was delicious and fun topped with a fluffy cloud of cotton candy. We tried two of the dessert croissants, the chocolate banana and the fruit croissants. Some of the child friendly options include fried chicken and thin crust pizza. There is also an assortment of café sandwiches and desserts.

While this location doesn’t have a play structure for the kids it does have room for them to run around and enjoy the sunshine. Four covered eating areas outside allow space for pets and friends to be around each other while keeping socially distanced.

Another child friendly feature is the bathroom. The sinks are low enough that little hands can reach them to wash up and there is a changing table conveniently located in the restroom. The whole building is very clean and bright.

If it’s a rainy day the second floor has a sun room with lounge chairs, and a big comfy sofa bed that allows you to still feel like you’re enjoying an afternoon on the lawn.

Over all my sons enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of 10 Dogs Café. I would love to go back. Parking is limited, but across the street is a larger lot where you can also park. The café is also located right next to a bus stop. 10 Dogs Café is a gem to find and thoroughly enjoyable to dine at. I hope to see you there!
