Ibadom Gamjatang, which is located in Bijeon-dong, is famous for its gamjatang (pork back-bone stew) and deungbbyeojjim (braised back rib). It is also certified as a Good Restaurant of Pyeongtaek, which guarantees hygiene, hospitality, and etc. Ibadom Gamjatang is very spacious and a kid friendly restaurant. The restaurant has a playroom for children, as well as a floor-seated room to dine with them.

The playroom for children is roomy too. For children’s safety, there are a few restrictions that children should follow. Only children between the ages four and nine can use the jungle gym and those with the height over 130cm cannot use the trampoline. Food is not allowed inside the playroom and it is strongly recommended for parents to accompany children under the age of five!

The most popular menu of Ibadom Gamjatang is the braised back rib (deungbbyeojjim), which comes with special sauce, delicious shrimp, and healthy vegetables. Remember, you can select the spicy level of your dish (less spicy to spicier)! The dish is consisted of ribs with a plenty of meat, glass noodles, and vegetables, which make a delicious and healthy dish! After having most of the meat on the plate,　try mixing rice with the remaining sauce! You will be able to experience a whole new flavor of rice compared to fried rice. Side dishes include radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, pickled radish, and pickled onions.

 

Ibadom Gamjatang’s Pyeongtaek branch opens everyday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and there is a parking lot available for visitors. Come visit if you want to have a healthy Korean dish with your children!
