Pyeongtaek Igok Children’s Park has several facilities that children can play with. Igok Children’s park is popular among children because it has a self-powered monorail. The monorail cars use electric power generated by pedaling and have sensors to detect object/person. If there is an object or a person in front of the rail within 2M of distance, the monorail cars will automatically stop! The monorail cars should be operated by pedaling only, so make sure that your children do not try to push monorail cars in other ways.

Children under the age of 7 are not recommended to ride monorail car as they may not have enough strength to pedal. Also, for the safety reason, only one person can seat on the monorail car and should not stand up while riding. Parents should watch over the children when they are on the ride and if there is a line, everyone must wait until it is their turn. Lastly, children should be instructed to keep a safe distance between monorail cars to avoid collision.

There are also a number of play facilities other than the monorail. In addition to play facilities for children, there are also exercise equipments for adults.

Drinking alcohol and cooking are prohibited at the park, and visitors must throw away litter in the designated area! Pets are not allowed to bring in and It is advised not to use the facilities from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. If you wish to play with your children in a pleasant environment, come visit Igok Children’s Park~!
