The Port of Pyeongtaek is one of the most important ports in Korea. It has great infrastructures for importing and exporting cargo. The port is very popular among Pyeongtaek citizens as they can enjoy fresh sea breeze without driving a long distance to rural areas. Not only that, there is a restaurant where people can enjoy delicious food and amazing sea view! The name of the restaurant is Monte Bianco.
Monte Bianco is located on the 15th floor of the building. The unique feature of the restaurant is that it rotates 360 degrees in a two-hour time span. It spins very slowly, so it does not cause motion sickness or headache. The food and the scenery from the restaurant are amazing so visitors often say they lose track of the time. In particular, if you visit the restaurant during the sunset hour, you will be mesmerized by the amazing view.
There are various lunch specials offered at reasonable prices, and the special menus are served with bread, soup, salad and dessert. The special menu of Monte Bianco is lobster course, which comes with an appetizer, bread and soup, salad, pasta, lobster, dessert, and coffee. You can also get a glass of wine or ade :) The special lobster course is 85,000 KRW for 1 person and 130,000 KRW for 2 people.
Monte Bianco opens every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and break time is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that it closes on Chuseok(Korean Thanksgiving Day) and Seollal(Korean New Year)!
