There is a shop that is famous for ggwabaegi (twisted donuts) in Paengseong. The shop offers a variety of breads at low costs! The most popular menu is the ggwabaegi, which costs 1,000 KRW for two pieces. Not only that, the shop also has croqeuttes, corn dogs, and red bean stuffed donuts that cost 1,000 KRW for each. It also sells glutinous rice donuts cost 1,000 KRW for three pieces. As the prices of donuts are so cheap, the shop only accepts cash for any orders under 3,000 KRW!
Ggwbaegi, as known as twisted donuts, are made of the chewy bread covered with sugar. Croquettes are bread filled with either vegetables or curry and corn dogs have sausages inside the bread. Finally, as the name refers red bean stuffed donuts have red bean fillings! Glutinous rice donuts have no fillings, but it is still popular because of its chewy texture.
Parking is available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.! But please note that it’s quite hard to park due to the limited parking space.
Bravo Myeongpum Chapssal Ggwabaegi is a take-out store. If you would like to take out your bread as a gift, additional 1,000 KRW will be charged! The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. but may close early when the breads are sold out quickly. The shop is closed every Sunday!
