People deliver everything ranging from daily necessities to even expensive household appliances. Because of COVID-19, there has been a growing number of contact-free delivery. The delivery men place goods in front of the door and send a text message notifying the delivery status. And here is the key of the public safety. Surprisingly, almost no one steals the delivery boxes left in front of homes!
Secondly, you may have seen people leaving their phones, laptops, wallets, and other items on the tables of cafes or restaurants when using the restroom. It is quite rare in Korea for people to steal such expensive items, and that’s why many people think that is is okay to place their belongings on a table to save their seats before going to the counter for placing an order.
Thirdly, it is safe in Korea to walk around at night alone, and that there are bars that open 24 hours a day. In fact, it is pretty safe in Korea for a group of women to drink and walk around at night. In addition, many people in Korea enjoy going out and drinking alone without worrying so much about their safety. It can’t be said that Korea is a perfectly safe place, but you should note that it is much safer than other countries!
Lastly, you may have noticed that many security cameras are installed in Korea. Security cameras are almost in anywhere because even vehicles nowadays have a black box, known as a small security camera. Thanks to the camera, the crime rate has decreased and it became easy to cut criminals. As you can tell, the security camera plays a big role in improving the public safety.
