Kakaorong: Where Dogs and Drinks Create the Perfect Summer Escape

If you need some healing time this summer, why not turn to man's best friend for some help? Kakaorong is a dog café located in Dongsak-dong and it's got all you need: cute dogs and delicious drinks!

The café welcomes guests to bring their own dogs (13kg and under) but it's not required for entry. The café is also child-friendly, although they do call themselves a "care kids zone" encouraging parents to take care just in case. The drink menu offers a variety of yummy treats including various coffee drinks, teas, ades, and smoothies. There is also a snack menu featuring mandu, tteokbokki, and more!

As soon as you enter the door, you will be welcomed by sweet dogs to interact with, including two adorable poodles, Kao and Karong, who belong to the cafe's owner. The two poodles are very friendly and good-tempered, even around children. We had no issues bringing along our one-year-old daughter, who was thrilled to play with all the puppies.

If you bring along your own dog, there are a variety of amenities available, such as free-use dog toys, a water dispenser with dog bowls, and photo zones for fun photo-ops with your furry friends. There are also packaged dog toys and treats that can be purchased at the counter. Visiting the café is also a great opportunity for small dogs to run around freely and make new friends.

Kakaorong has hours of 11 am to 8 pm and they are open every day except Mondays. There is no entrance fee however be sure to buy a drink! The café is located on the third floor and the entrance is in the back of the building.

There's no better way to forget your troubles than to spend some quality time with some cute pups!
