Pyeongtaek City has announced its full implementation of the '2023 City Bus Route Reorganization' on July 3. This initiative aims to enhance the mobility and accessibility of public transportation, offering a convenient means of travel for residents.
The bus route reorganization is a response to the growing demand for public transportation, driven by large-scale land and urban development. Changes in traffic patterns have necessitated a need for route reorganization, prompting this effort.
Starting with the first phrase on July 3, the reorganization will cover several areas, including the southern and northern regions, Paengseong, and Godeok international new town. The primary objective is to expand the number of routes serving new and original downtown areas, railway stations, and schools. This expansion will reduce waiting times for city buses and enhance overall convenience. Additionally, the implementation of new and major routes will result in shorter intervals between buses.
To ensure transparency and citizen awareness, Pyeongtaek City plans to publish the route reorganization details on the Pyeongtaek City website. Moreover, the city authorities will actively promote the changes through various channels leading up to the implementation date.
Through the '2023 city bus route reorganization' Pyeongtaek City aims to create a more efficient and user-friendly public transportation system. By improving the mobility and accessibility of buses, residents can enjoy enhanced convenience in their daily travels.
