Let's face it: as a foreigner in South Korea, it's not always easy to find your favorite treats from back home. Luckily in Pyeongtaek, however, you don't need to worry about gelato, thanks to Freeze, located near the scenic Baedari Park.
Due to its convenient location on the first floor of the Rodeo 1103 Shopping Center, picking up an ice-cool gelato from Freeze can be the perfect addition to a summer afternoon at the nearby park, the movie theater close by, or countless other restaurants and boutiques in the area. The best part, though? The gelato is delicious!
Freeze prides itself on hand-made gelato made in-house. They also use the best ingredients to create their flavors, including organic milk and fresh fruit. You can eat at the store, or take your gelato to go. They even have medium and large-sized to-go boxes if you're not planning to eat it immediately.
The menu is displayed in both Korean and English, and there is also a convenient touch-screen kiosk available for fast and easy ordering. Some of their many gelato flavors include milk, milk riso (rice), pistachio, Earl Grey, vanilla bean, chocolate, mulberry, and salted caramel. But that's only the beginning; be sure to check their menu often. The flavors change daily since they are made fresh! It's okay if you can't pick just one flavor, though—you can get two in the same cup! The menu also offers a variety of delicious yogurts and sorbets.
So if your taste buds have been craving something sweet and cold this summer, rest assured that Freeze Gelato will be a tasty respite against the scorching heat. Grab a flavor or two (or three!) and cool down.
