If you are interested in healthy food this winter, I highly recommend Silli Rice Myeon. I have been here a few times and every time they do not disappoint. Their menu is smaller than some other restaurants, but they know what they are good at. On their menu they have four main items: rice noodles, cold bean noodles, Korean beef soup, or a version of bibimbap. As sides they have rice and potstickers, and of course they have a variety of different drinks.

I ordered the rice noodles which comes with seaweed and an olive oil soy sauce to put on the noodles. Not only do you get a huge plate of rice noodles, but it comes with kimchi, soup that had seaweed in it, and another vegetable in a sauce that I was not sure exactly what it was. However, the unknown veggie tasted great. I also ordered some potstickers which are pictured filled with vegetables, glass noodles, and pork, dipped in soy sauce with sesame seeds.

They are open every Wednesday- Sunday from 11am until 3pm. The last call to order is at 2:30. I ended up going on a Wednesday this time a little bit after the lunch rush and was the only person in there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very calming.  When you walk in there is a menu standing on the side of the counter, and a kiosk on the counter that will take your order. You can have the kiosk speak to you in several different languages. Once you order you can take a seat at several indoor tables or when the weather is nice, they have a decent sized patio. The door that you come in through is lined with windows that almost go all the way up to the ceiling and let in a lot of beautiful light. The white walls, with wood textiles, and black windows makes it very homey feeling inside. On the far wall they have tools that used to be used for grinding rice and a few that I was not sure exactly what they were used for.

This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat especially when you are looking for something on the healthier side this winter.
