The 8th ROK-US Peace Concert, hosted by Pyeongtaek City and organized by the Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation took place on the 8th at JnJ Art Convention.

Attended by key figures from the U.S. Forces Korea, the concert commemorated Pyeongtaek City's membership in the UN International City of Peace.

Featuring various genres such as Christmas carols, fusion traditional Korean music, and popular songs, the concert, with over 400 participants, including more than 100 U.S. military families, fostered friendship between Korea and the U.S.

The audience warmly embraced the performance by the Humphreys Middle School Band and Orchestra, comprised of approximately 50 students, as well as the enchanting Christmas melodies and the captivating performance by the U.S. 8th Army Jazz Band.

Choi Won-yong, the chairman of Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation, expressed, "Pyeongtaek City takes pride in being an international city of peace, dedicated to enhancing communication and mutual understanding with the broader world. We look forward to deeper cooperation and friendship between Pyeongtaek City and the U.S. Forces Korea in the future.”
