The 19th Korean-American One Heart Festival drew an impressive crowd during its
two-day run on May 18-19. The festival, held in front of USAG Humphreys in
Paengseong-eup, Pyeongtaek, welcomed U.S. military personnel, local residents, and
visitors from across South Korea.

This large-scale event featured a diverse array of activities and experiences catering
to all ages. Festival-goers enjoyed a variety of food booths, balloon tossing, fish-catching activities, and kimchi-making demonstrations. Cultural experiences such as hopscotch and traditional Korean hanbok wearing were also available for attendees to enjoy.
The festival's program included Korea-U.S. cultural experience booths, various food
booths, and a stamp tour. Among the event's highlights the Korea-U.S. Best Dancer Contest, and a vibrant Korea-U.S. parade.
Live performances added to the festive atmosphere, with the 6Band (Yuk Jungwan Band) and Macguffin Band taking the stage on May 18, followed by Lee Jung and Genius on May 19. The event successfully fostered cultural exchange and camaraderie between the U.S. military community and local Korean residents, providing a platform for mutual understanding and friendship.
