In celebration of global unity and diversity, the 17th Together Day event is set to take place on June 2nd, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in front of Pyeongtaek City Hall.
This year's event promises a vibrant array of activities showcasing cultures from around the world. Commencing at 1:30 PM, the program kicks off with a together day celebration, followed by a cultural festival starting at 2:00 PM.
Six nations, including the Philippines, Nepal, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia, will be highlighted during the cultural festival, offering visitors a taste of their traditions, music, and arts.
Attendees can immerse themselves in a multitude of experiences at the various booths available throughout the day. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, cultural immersion booths will offer 15 different activities, including trying on traditional attire from around the world.
Food enthusiasts are in for a treat with nine food booths featuring cuisines from different countries. Additionally, special events such as the Myanmar Peace Wishing Speak takraw Tournament, a 3-point shootout basketball competition, and Carrom competition will add excitement to the festivities.
There are variety stage events including Gilnori, lion mask dance, a traditional costume modeling contest, and a global rice cooking competition.
