Pyeongtaek City is set to introduce a new feature to its city tour program: specially designed trolley buses. These eco-friendly CNG buses, featuring a vintage European aesthetic will enhance the touring experience with their unique charm and modern technology.
Pyeongtaek's new city tour buses embrace this look, blending old-world elegance with contemporary, sustainable design. This initiative marks a shift from the city's previous practice of using leased charter buses for its tours.
The Pyeongtaek City Tour operates every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, offering a thorough exploration of the city's historical and cultural landmarks. The tour itinerary includes visits to Pyeongtaek Hyanggyo, the Jeong Do-jeon historic site, Sudosa Temple, Agro-Ecological Park, and the Pyeongtaek Lake Tourist Complex. Additionally, group reservations can be arranged on non-scheduled days to accommodate more visitors.
This year's tour season starts on the 11th of May. It runs until November, providing ample opportunity for residents and tourists alike to experience the rich history and culture of Pyeongtaek in a charming new way.
For reservations and further inquiries, please contact the Pyeongtaek Cultural Center. Don't miss the chance to enjoy Pyeongtaek's scenic and historic sites aboard these beautiful new trolleybuses!
