Pyeongtaek Living 101 Workshops Are Back

Pyeongtaek Living 101 Workshops are back this April, now with an exciting new twist: they’re open to the whole family.

Running from April 21 to 24 (Monday to Thursday), the evening sessions will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and include a short snack break.

This free four-day event is designed to help international residents better navigate and enjoy life in Korea and for the first time, there’s a dedicated children’s program running alongside the adult workshops.

Adults will attend informative, hands-on workshops led by Lisa Peck. Meanwhile, children ages 3 to 10 can join KIDZ Pyeongtaek! Play & Talk — a fun, engaging program led by Sol Hong, a local language educator and mother of twins. With a focus on helping young children feel confident and at home in their new environment, the sessions feature games, stories, crafts, and more. Children’s activities will be held in a separate room at the same venue, offering convenience for parents and a safe, structured environment for kids.

Spaces for both adult and children’s workshops are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
