Free Medical Services Available Monthly for Foreign Workers and Multicultural Families in Pyeongtaek


Foreign residents in the Pyeongtaek area now have access to free medical care thanks to a monthly volunteer program held at the Anjung Health Center. Aimed at foreign workers and multicultural families who face challenges accessing healthcare, the initiative offers essential medical services without the need for reservations.

Each month, approximately 20 medical professionals including doctors and pharmacists from the western region volunteer their time to provide outpatient care and internal medicine services. Free medications are also distributed on-site.

The clinic is held every third Sunday of the month from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Anjung Health Center, located on the 2nd floor of 24, Anhyeon-ro 9-gil, Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek.

Assistance is available in multiple languages to accommodate the diverse local community. Foreign residents can contact the Anjung Health Center at 031-8024-8623 or the Pyeongtaek Foreigner Information Center at 031-652-8855 (HELP) for more information.

Language support is available through a phone menu system, with Korean by pressing 1, English by pressing 2, Vietnamese by pressing 3, Russian by pressing 4, and Tagalog by pressing 5.
