Starting this year, families in Gyeonggi-do with babies born on or after January 1st, 2025, can apply for a special birth congratulatory card. This initiative aims to support new parents and celebrate the arrival of newborns registered in the resident registration system.
Who is Eligible?
•Babies born after January 1st, 2025.
•The baby must be registered in the resident registration system.
•The applicant, who can be a parent or guardian, should reside with the baby. If living separately, a family relation certificate is required.
Application Period:
Applications must be submitted within 12 months following the baby's birth registration.
How to Apply:
Applicants can apply online through the Gyeonggi Civil Service Portal (경기민원24).
Documents Needed:
•Resident registration information (available via administrative information sharing).
•If not accessible electronically, applicants must submit a resident registration copy, family relation certificate, and a photo file of the baby.
