2nd Wonpyeong Cultural Festival “Over the Dduk” Set for September 20 in Pyeongtaek


The streets of Wonpyeong-ro 39beon-gil will come alive this fall as the 2nd Wonpyeong Cultural Festival, “Over the Dduk,” kicks off on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Just a one-minute walk from Exit 2 of Pyeongtaek Station, the festival will transform the neighborhood into a vibrant celebration featuring a night market filled with the aroma of street food, lively busking and samulnori-style percussion performances, and hands-on activities such as face painting for children and families.

Running alongside Youth Day at Pyeongtaek Station, the festival will also include a flea market and exciting live shows, ensuring there is something for all ages to enjoy. Visitors can expect a dynamic mix of traditional and contemporary entertainment paired with warm community spirit.

Organized collaboratively by local residents, merchants, and young people, the Wonpyeong Cultural Festival has become a symbol of neighborhood pride. This year’s theme emphasizes joy, music, and togetherness, promising a day full of flavors, laughter, and festive energy.
