Pyeongtaek to Host the 2025 Gyeonggi Garden Culture Festival, Opening October 16

This October, as autumn colors deepen, the 2025 Gyeonggi Garden Culture Festival will be held at the Pyeongtaek Agricultural Ecological Garden. Running from October 16 to 19, the four-day festival will bring vibrant seasonal hues to Pyeongtaek while presenting a fresh vision of garden culture.

The theme of this year’s festival is “The Garden of Pyeongtaek: Meeting Gardens in Everyday Life.” Moving beyond traditional garden exhibitions, the event is designed as a cultural festival where citizens and visitors can actively participate and engage. A total of 68 themed gardens will be showcased, offering unique spaces where art and agriculture converge. In addition, more than 130 booths, including exhibitions, hands-on experiences, sales, and a Marche market—will provide over 150 attractions to enjoy.

The festival also features a wide array of cultural events. Highlights include a street parade with more than 1,000 participants, performances by local choirs and popular singers, an indie band stage, and a spectacular drone light show. Visitors can also explore experience zones, a social enterprise market, and a direct-trade farmers’ market, creating a lively and inclusive space for all generations.

Adding to the program, a conference under the theme “Drawing the Future of Garden Culture” will bring together experts and citizens to discuss the value and future direction of garden culture. With its rich lineup and the beauty of autumn, the 2025 Gyeonggi Garden Culture Festival promises to be a memorable celebration of community, culture, and nature in Pyeongtaek.
