Government Launches Safety Apps for Foreign Residents in Korea 🇰🇷📱


The Ministry of the Interior and Safety has introduced useful mobile applications and online platforms designed to help foreign residents in Korea stay safe, informed, and prepared in emergencies.

📲 Emergency Ready App
This app provides real-time disaster information, including updates on earthquakes, evacuations, and the locations of emergency shelters, police stations, and fire stations.

It is available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese, with more languages to be added in 2025.

📲 Emergency Call App
Foreigners can use this app to report emergencies quickly and easily.
The service supports English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Filipino languages, allowing users to reach emergency services without language barriers.

🌐 National Safety Education Platform
This online learning platform offers educational resources on disaster preparedness, accident prevention, and everyday safety.

It is accessible in English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Foreign residents are encouraged to scan the QR codes on the official poster to download the apps and access the safety platform immediately.
