3rd Floor Cat Café (삼층고양이카페): Spend Time with Cats in Hapjeong

3rd Floor Cat Café (삼층고양이카페) is a cat café in Hapjeong-dong that offers visitors a relaxed space to interact with a variety of cat breeds up close. The café is well suited for couples, solo visitors, and families with children who enjoy animals.

The space is thoughtfully designed, with a general seating area at the entrance and a separate inner zone where the cats live. The two areas are divided by a double door, allowing visitors with cat allergies to accompany their group and wait comfortably in the outer seating area. Inside the cat zone, cat towers and resting spaces are placed throughout the café, allowing the cats to move freely and behave naturally. Breeds include Munchkin, Russian Blue, and others, with each cat's name and breed displayed on the wall.

An admission fee of 9,000 KRW applies, and each visitor is also required to purchase one drink. Cat toys are available at the entrance for use inside the cat zone. Visitors are asked to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer before entering.

One practical detail worth noting is that the café only opens on weekends and public holidays. The owner intentionally keeps the café closed on weekdays to give the cats adequate rest, which is reflected in their generally calm and healthy condition.

As with any cat café, visitors should avoid grabbing or startling the cats, approach them gently, and remember that each cat has its own personality. Wearing dark or knitted clothing is not recommended, as cat hair tends to stick easily. It is also a good idea to check the café's Instagram or blog before visiting to confirm opening hours.
