Introducing the Baedari Ecological Park, a place great for a refreshing walk!

There are quite a lot of ecological parks in Korea that keep nature as it is. Because it preserves the natural environment, such as long stretches of trees, various plants and wide, open rivers, there are many places to have a cool walk even in the summer. Among these, today we'll be introducing the Baedari Ecological Park in Pyeongtaek.

When you enter the Baedari Ecological Park, you'll be greeted by a wide, open reservoir called Water's Square. A wooden railing is installed next to the reservoir so you can safely take a walk alongside. As you walk between the flowers, trees and water, it'll be great to take in and enjoy all the scenery!

As you continue walking, you'll be able to see the Wonhyung Forest Reserve (forest reserve made to preserve the natural state of the forest), a place where you can take a walk whilst being surrounded by forests. It's a good place to enjoy the scent of the greenery whilst on a walk and the thick, dense forest covering the sun also makes it a good place to do light exercise in the hot summer. Please note that night-time entry to the Wonhyung Forest Reserve is regulated for safety purposes! There are benches scattered throughout the trail so you can take a rest any time. Pavilions are also available for you to enjoy to the fullest, so how about taking a seat and enjoying a chat with others?

There are few rules that you must abide by inside the park, but please come for a cool, refreshing walk at the Baedari Ecological Park! Please note, you must wear a mask when visiting! Also, please remember to maintain social distancing during your walk!
