Introducing exotic shaved ice in Pyeongtaek!

Before we knew it, September has already arrived. While it is fall, the weather is still hot. Obviously, shaved ice is a necessity in hot weather, right? It's a dessert enjoyed by people of all ages and also has plenty of different types. Today we'll be introducing different kinds of shaved ice in Pyeongtaek! Shall we look into some visually stunning shaved ice?

Cafe Gioia

The first place to introduce is a place called Cafe Gioia.

While it's normal for it to come out all in one bowl when you order a regular red bean shaved ice, at Gioia, the shaved ice is served separately with the bean powder and red beans. Like the photo, you can see a lot of bean powder is provided. There's no way this can't be delicious when you combine the sweet red bean with the savory bean powder, right? The white above the red bean is shaved ice made by mixing milk and condensed milk! Gioia's most distinctive feature is that the ingredients are all made by hand. It's not only the ice but the red bean is also hand-made, so it's also called hand-made shaved ice!

Lucid Coffee

Next is a place called Lucid Coffee.

It's a cafe set up as a room cafe, allowing you to enjoy desserts comfortably. You just have to take a picture of the cozy interior, no? It'll be good to sit comfortably and enjoy chats with others! Lucid Coffee has green tea, red bean and mango flavors for shaved ice and unlike other shaved ice shops, a unique characteristic is the long and wide bowls, allowing you to feel full!

The Page

Lastly is a cafe called The Page.

This is a café that is always bustling with people! The inside of the cafe is filled with various assorted books to provide an old analogue feeling of book cafes. The Page's most unique feature of their shaved ice is the large portions. In particular, the fruit shaved ice has lots of different kinds of fruit on top and the chocolate or red bean shaved ice is filled to the brim with ingredients!
